A number of HMC professors are advertising and recruiting for Spring 2022 and Summer 2022 research positions using the HMC Undergraduate Research Opportunities site. If you are interested in learning about these positions or applying to them, go to https://uro.hmc.edu to register, set up your profile, and apply to what looks exciting. The current round includes positions available this spring and/or summer. Please note, we will have another round at the beginning of next semester that also includes summer positions. If you don't see projects from a faculty member you're interested in working with, please get in touch with them directly to ask about their timeline.
The deadline to apply for projects is Sunday, December 5 at 11:59pm PT.
Doing research is a great way to get hands-on experience in a discipline you're passionate about. Please check out the FAQ https://uro.hmc.edu/faq and email me (milton@hmc.edu) if you are having difficulty with the site. Also note that these aren't the only research positions that are available at Mudd. Some faculty members have their own method of advertising, so if there is a faculty member you are interested in working with, you could always contact them directly to find out if they have any available positions.
